1ST ANNUAL CONFERENCE IN BAKU DEDICATED TO INSURANCE AWARENESS FOR SEAFARERS 2023
On October 17, 2023, with the organizational support of the Association of Azerbaijan Insurers, the sponsorship of "Liman Insurance and Reinsurance Broker", "United Alliance Group", "ZenithSurvey", "Azerbaijan Maritime Registry of Shipping" companies, the 1st Conference dedicated to the education of seafarers in the field of insurance was held.
In the course of the conference, the participants made a wide presentation on the education of seafarers in the field of insurance, the importance of an insurance broker for seafarers, the advantages and development of compulsory insurance systems, the benefits of civil liability insurance (P&l protection and defense) of water transport owners for seafarers.
The presentation of insurance products for seafarers by insurance companies was also included in the conference. During the presentation, extensive information was given about the "Sailor Casco" and "Emergency Medical Friend" products, and its importance was brought to attention.
